Sunset in Oakland

So, after so many days of fires up in Northern California, we got these beautiful orange sunsets in Oakland, which were fascinating to watch. I took these right after coming home from work and running upstairs to the roof to try to catch something. The strange color comes from the expired Fuji filmed I used and then cross-processed. Also the scans are low-res, so the detail in the sky is lost. I love the monochromatic feel to these images.

Yosemite in August

In August Andy, Nikki and me went to Yosemite(my first) to camp. It is a beautiful park and I hope we are smart enough to keep it safe for future generations to enjoy.

Classic Yosemite. Not Ansel, but still beautiful, if you ask me...

August Report

Hi everyone,

It has been a while. I am not so great at this blogging thing, am I?
I just wanted to show you a few things I've been working on.

This image is from Cornerstone Gardens up in Sonoma, CA. I went on a photo day excursion with my friends.

I also have been working a project on kitchens and you can see some of those here in my Flickr page.

From the end of August to November, I will have a set of drawings at Blue Dot Cafe and Coffeebar, a new cafe in Alameda, CA.

Hope you enjoy this little update and please visit Arte Sin Piedad to see more photos.

See you soon!
